How do you go from making no money at all to being one of the top salespeople in the world and making your very own movie?

Ask Tom Broadwell. Tom Broadwell 28, is a self-employed entrepreneur who runs his very own personal training and sales business.

He works just ten hours a week and is already on his way to forging a top movie career and sales empire.

So how did he do it? The key, Tom says, is all in the mind. He emphasised the importance of not only believing and visualising what you want, but also controlling the emotions in what is known as the law of attraction.

But is it really possible to build a better lifestyle purely through exercising control over the emotions?

According to Tom, yes. And he is living proof of that.

He said: “The more you get into it, the quicker that things happen for you. I was introduced to the law of attraction through a movie called the Secret. From then, I read every book that I could get my hands on. It really shows us how powerful we really are.

“People put it down, but the truth is if you took a flat screen TV and put it into the centre of a square 150 years ago, people would see you as some sort of wizard or witch. People just couldn’t get their heads around it. Some people say that it is not scientifically proven, but science has not reached its maximum level.

“People may look back and wonder why some didn’t believe in the law of attraction. As a kid, I’ve always wanted to be an actor or movie star and I’ve done that, just through absolutely astounding circumstances.”

After being voted top salesman in the world, according to league tables that were released at the end of each cruise, he then went on to fund his very own movie.

He collaborated with a man called Don Adams from Canada and both decided to invest £15,000 each with the savings they had earned from their time on the cruises.

The movie, Twisted Seduction was an instant hit in film festivals across the world and on Youtube. It was even praised by Andrew Cripps, a top executive in Paramount and Barry Osborne, executive director of Lord of the Rings. It was also dubbed as ‘the original Shades of Grey, before Shades of Grey was written.’

He puts his success down to self-belief and positive thinking. By visualising that which you desire he says, you can bring about significant changes in your circumstances and lifestyle.

“It just shows us how powerful we really are. I’ve had so many opportunities come into my life as a result. You will get one to three opportunities to become free and make a lot of money in your life.”

Shortly after making the movie, Tom returned to England to focus on his sales and personal training business.

A huge part of his personal training career involved giving clients advice on health and nutrition, which he was first introduced to on the cruise ships.

He said: “We were selling detox products and we were teaching a different form of nutrition, that was actually better than the nutrition I learned in college which I now view as propaganda rubbish. I had a guy who had come to me for just one session who had won the fastest loser competition in the US, but he actually weighed more ten months after winning the show than he ever had in his life.

“He didn’t know what to do or what to carry on with and when you lose weight too quickly, your body goes into starvation mode and led to him weighing 120 pounds more than he ever did in his life. He was just really upset and sad but I got him on the holistic path and he has done alright.”

Tom has also managed to treat his own health conditions with holistic remedies and says that his eczema has cleared up significantly since making small changes to his diet and detoxing.

He will undoubtedly be an inspiration to other young people who are also facing difficulties with their health or their lifestyle. The key to it all he says, is having confidence in yourself regardless of what other people may say.

“If you don’t love yourself, then who will?”, he says: “Start by loving yourself. If you find it difficult, choose one little thing you love about yourself. Everyone is different, the body is just a vehicle. Love yourself and you will attract people into your life who will love you for who you are. Do what is good for your body, mind, eat healthy, exercise.”
