Amina’s life has been marked by hardship, resilience, and an unwavering belief in the power of healing. Through years of health struggles and personal challenges, she has transformed pain into purpose, emerging as both a survivor and a guide for others on their own healing journeys.

Living with spontaneous pneumothorax (collapsed lung) and rheumatoid arthritis, Amina has endured years of fatigue, breathlessness, and pain. These conditions affected not just her physical health but also placed emotional strain on her personal life. Yet, rather than allow illness to define her, she turned adversity into a source of strength.

Raising seven children while navigating her own health battles, Amina sought answers beyond conventional medicine. Her search led her to holistic healing, where she trained in reiki, pranic breathwork, and qigong. But it was a near-death experience that became the true catalyst for change.

“I saw a purple light and thought, ‘Is this it? Am I dying?’” she recalls. That moment, teetering between life and death, sparked a deep spiritual awakening. It was then that Amina fully embraced her calling—not just to heal herself but to help others find wellness and inner peace.

“Healing is about more than just the body,” she explains. “It’s about restoring balance, within ourselves and the world.” This belief drives her work, as she views personal healing as a step toward collective peace. “Every person who heals sends ripples of peace outward. It starts with us.”

Beyond her physical and spiritual journey, Amina has also fought against societal labels. As a single mother of seven, she faced judgment and dismissal. But she refused to let stereotypes define her. Determined to prove herself, she pursued a university degree in Islamic Studies, overcoming deep-seated doubts and the challenges of dyslexia.

“I was scared, but I knew I had to try,” she says. “A tutor once told me, ‘The hardest part is showing up.’” That encouragement pushed her forward, and despite the struggles, she excelled. “I proved to myself that I could do it. It’s never too late to change your story.”

As a child, Amina was often underestimated. Teachers accused her of cheating when she succeeded where others failed. “They didn’t believe I could have the right answer,” she says. That early experience of being dismissed fueled her drive to break barriers later in life.

Now, Amina hopes her journey will inspire others to embrace their own resilience. Whether through physical healing, education, or simply refusing to accept the limitations placed on them, she believes everyone has the power to rewrite their own story.
