The BNP leader Nick has prompted outrage after making racist and homophobic remarks to an Asian man who happens to be gay.

During an online Twitter confrontation with Twitter user Arif Ali from Manchester, Griffin unleashed a rant against Islamists and homosexuals after Ali challenged him over one of his remarks.

The controversial and bigoted leader of the BNP also went to great lengths to insist he was not homophobic or prejudiced against gay people shortly before calling Ali a “hysterical little poof”.

Commenting on a trip that Griffin had recently made to France, Ali had tweeted:  “What you doing there and not in this fine country? trying to keep the French out of Britain? I hope so #lovethebnp #sarcasm.”

Griffin responded by saying: “So many of our dead rest in northern France that Brits have more of a place there than you & yours have in England.”

Mr Ali tweeted Mr Griffin to say: “I was born and raised in Manchester … I have more of a right in Britain than you because I’m not a bigoted idiot…”

The MEP replied: “You belong in Pakistan, but of course, they’d stone you to death! So better help keep Britain non -Islamic!”

Mr Ali tweeted: “now that one was homophobic. And actually Pakistan wouldn’t stone me to death… It’s not a theocracy. Go educate yourself.
“England is my home… So yes I would. However, there are openly gay people in Pakistan… it isn’t that backward…It’s like the church, there are mosques that will do gay marriages yes.”

In response, Mr Griffin tweeted Mr Ali to say: “How is it ‘homophobic’ to point out that Islamists stone homosexuals to death? Hysterical little poof.”

He has previously prompted outrage over his vile tweets which insulted the mother of murdered teenager Stephen Lawrence.

The online BNP pest has also been lambasted over his sleazy comments about Nigella lawrence following her split with Charles Saatchi over a domestic incident where he was seen squeezing her throat.

In his tweet Griffin said: “If I had the opportunity to squeeze Nigella, her throat wouldn’t be my first choice.”
