Over the last few weeks, the UK has watched as David Cameron kindly took a break from his continuous cycle of holidays, to investigate the alleged beheading of James Foley, the journalist apparently murdered in Syria.

Foley was allegedly beheaded by a hip-hop terrorist called..wait for it…”Jihadi John”. Much ado has been made about his apparent love of hip-hop music and his penchant for murdering brave, American heroes. It sounds almost like something you’d get from a comedy strip.

However, the implications of this very ambiguous terrorist scenario is anything but a laughing matter – as the governments are currently trying to use it as a justification for yet further violence and destabilisation.

No longer content with their tall tales of the mysterious “white widow” Samantha Lewthwaite, Jihadi John has become the next phony character to take the world stage.

Lewthwaite, it is said, is the world’s most wanted terrorist. Law enforcement agencies all over the world, including MI5 are apparently unable to track her down and ascertain her whereabouts– despite the fact that her every movement is documented in minute detail by the press.

But anyway, I digress.

In this latest series of events, the quality of the James Foley video was so poor that even the mainstream press have been forced to report on questions surrounding its authenticity.

A forensic company which has worked with police forces across the UK has conducted a study on the four-minute clip.

Its findings? Camera trickery and slick post-production techniques appear to have been used.

The company, which has requested to remain anonymous, told the Times that no blood is seen in the video – a little strange for someone who has just had their head hacked off in an incident, where we are told, the knife was drawn across the neck six times.

In addition, the sounds apparently made by Foley, were “not consistent with what may be expected”.

One expert was quoted as saying: “I think it has been staged. My feeling is that the execution may have happened after the camera was stopped.”

Of course, the idea that the execution may have happened *after* the camera was stopped, makes no sense either. After all, if the terrorists were so keen to make a show of the fact they are beheading an American civilian, why wait until after the camera stops?

The calm demeanour of Mr Foley, combined with the relentless campaign waged by the Met Police to swoop down on anyone who dares to even watch the original video clip, let alone question it, has also helped to throw further doubts and uncertainty about the case.

Therefore, the real answers about how James Foley died – if indeed that is what happened – have as yet, remained unanswered.

Meanwhile, David Cameron, along with his corporate sponsors and media henchmen, continue to try and use the pretext of the war on terror, and the fight against extremist Muslims as a reason to try and invade Syria.

Here’s the problem: Russia has already stated its intention to use force if an invasion of Syria occurs. In other words, it is an event that could potentially set off one of the biggest global conflicts since the second world war if the governing psychopaths are allowed to have their way.

Since then, hip-hop terrorist “Jihadi John” is reported to have struck again with his threats of beheading a second American journalist Steven Sotloff.

In keeping with the last video, Sotloff was reported to have been made to read out a statement whilst kneeling in an orange jumpsuit – similar to those worn by the captives in Guantanamo Bay.

With the doubts and uncertainty surrounding the last video, this latest development is also subject to uncertainty and speculation.

Whatever the truth of the matter is, the relentless push by David Cameron and other world leaders to use this incident as a justification for yet another invasion means that once again, it is up to the ordinary man and woman on the street to oppose the perpetration of violence that is already taking place in the world.
